By accessing or using Spark (“the Service”), operated by Spark Education, Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You represent that you are at least 18 years old and are registering on behalf of a minor child in your care. You take full responsibility for your child's use of the Service.
Spark is an AI-powered tutoring platform designed for middle and high school students (grades 6–12). The Service provides personalized, curriculum-aligned tutoring sessions across Math, Reading, and Science, along with optional MAP Test Prep features.
Spark is a supplemental educational tool and is not a replacement for accredited schooling, licensed tutors, or professional educational assessments.
Free Plan: Free forever, no payment information required. Includes the full lesson library, the daily challenge, and 1 AI tutor session per week.
Plus — Monthly: $9.99 per month per child, billed on the same date each month. Includes 10 AI tutor sessions per month plus everything in Free.
Plus — Annual: $89 per year per child ($7.42/month equivalent), billed once per year. Approximately 26% savings vs the monthly Plus plan.
Premium — Monthly: $14.99 per month per child, billed on the same date each month. Includes unlimited AI tutor sessions plus everything in Plus.
Premium — Annual: $129 per year per child ($10.75/month equivalent), billed once per year. Approximately 28% savings vs the monthly Premium plan.
Family Premium — Monthly: $19.99 per month, covering up to 4 children in one household with full Premium access each. Billed on the same date each month.
Family Premium — Annual: $179 per year, covering up to 4 children in one household ($14.92/month equivalent). Approximately 25% savings vs the monthly Family Premium plan.
SAT Prep Add-on: A one-time payment of $100 for 30 days of intensive SAT preparation covering SAT Math and Reading/Writing. Requires an active Plus or Premium subscription. Available to high school students (grades 9–12) only.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date. You may cancel at any time from your account settings.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current paid billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
If you experience a billing error, please contact us at support@sparklearners.com within 30 days and we will investigate promptly.
Spark is designed for use by children under the supervision and consent of a parent or guardian. We comply fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. The parent or guardian account holder is responsible for managing their child's profile and usage.

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Spark Education, Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, test score improvements, or learning results. Individual results will vary.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spark Education, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months prior to the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
